The GEAR Startup CoLab Programme is designed to facilitate commercially impactful collaborations between startups and Kajima business lines. This is aimed at commercially-ready technology that can be scaled up across Kajima, and has project funding for POCs available in the quantum of approximately $10-$30k SGD. It is a structured programme that follows a timeline of workshops and milestones, with a limit of ~8 startup selected per year.
This differs to the Community Access Programme, which has no structure or schedule – companies can join at any time of year, for any duration with no set limit of members. It is designed to foster a connected community thorugh events and connections within the ecosystem. Member companies can access small amounts of funding for small-scale POCs / early stage technology testbedding, that does not require the structure and scale of resources that Startup CoLab programme offers.
