The GEAR’s R&D labs push the boundaries of knowledge and expands our understanding of the world, focusing on Construction Robotics, Human Centric Design, Digital Tech, Environmental Engineering, and Urban Space Creation.
Powered by the Kajima Technical Research Institute Singapore (KaTRIS), the labs will serve to drive technological advancements, lead to the development of new products, processes, and technologies that can improve the quality of life for individuals and societies as a whole.
The GEAR R&D Labs
The GEAR is a living lab for experimentation, exploration, and co-creation. Our 5 labs and distinct workplace testbed zones use monitoring sensors, image recognition, and AI to evaluate occupants behaviour and the environment.
